When i got saved, mark was allocated to me to basic discipleship, and from the start i noticed how friendly and alive he was.He had a great joy about him and was living in the fast lane of life.
He was good fun to be around with, and he was on fire for jesus. Its like he could not stop.I remember going out with mark on a few evangelistic outreaches, and he was we into witnessing to the lost.Irememberall the services at south street on sundays, and you could bet your bottom dollar that sooner or later mark would show up with someone from the streets, bringing them to the church, many who got converted.
He was an inspiration to many and i would say,an example of a true disciple of jesus.
I met mark many years later in brixton on an outreach,as he had left ichthus and i was surprised when he told me that he wasnt really part of any church at that point.
I dont know where it all started to go wrong for mark,God knows, but im left with fond and inspiring memories of him ,his joy of the lord and his desire to know God and to do the great commission.See you soon mark.
